What the app does
Teleprompt lets you write scripts and scroll them while you film. You can use the front camera and the microphone on your iPhone.
Data we store
- On your iPhone. Scripts and settings stay on the device. A video you record is saved through the iPhone camera roll or share sheet. We do not host your videos.
- Online, if you sign in. When you sign in with Google, a copy of your scripts is stored for you in Sydney. That copy is tied to that Google account.
- Claude and ChatGPT. If you connect Teleprompt and approve access, that assistant can list, read, add, change, and remove the scripts in your signed-in account. It cannot see another person's scripts. You can disconnect it in that assistant.
- Deleting the app removes the copy on the phone. It does not by itself delete the online copy.
Permissions
iOS may ask for:
- Camera, for the front camera while prompting
- Microphone, for recording and the level meter
- Photos, when you save a recording to your library
Those are used on the phone. We do not upload your video or audio.
